If the refs took more controll of soccer games, wouldn't it be more fun for both players and fans?

Refs are complaining about respect, if they took a more hard line attitude toward the smaller fouls and infringements that occur on the field they would gradually regain control of the game and the respect from both players and fans. Simple things like ten yards from free kicks is constantly ignored and encroached upon, where the throw in starts and finishes, body checking forwards and intentional fouls by defenders. As a fan of the game I see these indiscretion's as a disease that is slowly killing the quality and enjoyment of the great game of soccer. We need to see more RED cards for these small infractions, the refs seem scared to send players off !! If they didn't put up with the ';Small'; infractions then teams would be forced to play with skill and talent, not like teams like Chelsea who seem to practice ';What IF'; Fouling situations. Do the coaches condone these tactics? Do they coach great football or teach how to get away with cheating? If the refs took more controll of soccer games, wouldn't it be more fun for both players and fans?
Yes. I do wish they would sort it. I actually support a lower league team and these habits are starting to creep in there too. It's not just you feel ripped off if the other team cheated. But it slows down the flow of the game every time it stops for some clown to have a roll around the grass holding himself like some little girl, because another player had the cheek to come within 5 yards of him.If the refs took more controll of soccer games, wouldn't it be more fun for both players and fans?
soccer doesn't suck, go screw yrself douchebag.

anyways i think it is fine the way it is now, there will always be physical aspects like shoving and such in any sport.. more red cards would ruin the players ability to go out there and enjoy the sport they love. soccer is a rough sport, if you want the ball, you simply act upon that desire.
You're supposed to caution players for dissent, but there's so much dissent players would be sent off at an alarming rate. Refs don't want this because their bosses would hammer them for it.

If FIFA wasn't so busy with bureaucracy and corruption football could be sorted out.
I watched a Tunisian 1st division match on Sunday and if the ref had done as you suggest then half the players would have been off before the first 45 mins were up.
i hate my refs in soccer so i say no

my crowd is always yelling at the refs and my coaches
