Okay, I have never plagiarized any of my papers, and i don't intend too. But i have a really big paper coming up, Im in high school btw, and I am worried that I didn't cite my sources well enough. It seems like in one way or another they'll ding you on anything, yet our Vice President got away with it, but I just want to know some ways to ensure that I do not get wrongly accused of anything. It's all in my words, but they seem so hell bent on doing every little detail ';the date, the url,'; everything, so if anyone has any words of encouragement or advice, i would greatly appreciate it. Im at the point where im just looking up random websites for my topic, and putting them into my bibliography. How the **** does Tim Geithner get away with cheating on his taxes, yet they are scaring the **** out of me for something that i have no intention of doing. For some reason they are waging a zealous war on it this year, so I'll leave it at that. How to not get screwed by plagiarism?
When it comes to referencing you need to do it as you go along or it just takes way too long afterwards!
If you have to use Harvard Referencing check out this website http://libweb.anglia.ac.uk/referencing/h鈥?/a> - It gives full instructions on how to reference things.
If it's in your own words though it's fine, it just needs to be changed enough.
