My man won't commit...where do you suggest I look for a new one?

Ok I've been in an off and on relationship for 3 years. The guy is in the military stationed 1500 mi away. He cheated on me the first year we dated. We broke up. Fast forward to now, a year and a half later, we are still ';working things out';, yet he doesn't want to commit to being ';back together';. He spoils me with gifts and tells me he loves me and misses me and emails me and calls daily, yet he said last week when I flew 4 hours to visit him (he bought the plane ticket) that he wasn't ready to commit to dating me again. Then when I left in tears, he was all about ';I miss you! I love you! I need you!'; for days after.





At this point, I am frustrated beyond belief. I know it probably isnt the best thing to get back together as long as he's so far away but he's not giving me anything but material things to hold on. I love him so much and want it to work, but am I disilllusioned?





How do I find these fabulous men that will commit that everyone keeps talking about!!?!?!My man won't commit...where do you suggest I look for a new one?

These material things he is giving you could be an expression of the things he cannot do with you yet. He's doing all he can, but at the same time maybe he's afraid of commitment because that could hurt even more?
