Can i call CPS on from watching possible child abuse on tv?

I was watching Maury and this couple have 2 kids. About 3 and 12 mos. Anyways the husband is very abusive. He punches her in the face, spits on her, yells and curses at her. The poor women cant even take a showr on her own because that would mean shes washing away evidence of cheating. Then he starts getting upset when the kids cry.





How does Maury allow these people on TV and then just let them go home with 2 innocent kids? The wife won't leave she ';loves'; him....**sighs**





I really really can't stand to think that these kids are in this mess. If he's pissed about 2 babies crying its only a matter of time until he beats the kids...Im actually worried!!

LOL....I havent ever personally known of or heard of anyone going on any show like that. I honestly don't think any of it is even real.Can i call CPS on from watching possible child abuse on tv?
I would think that someone from the show already reported them IF they aren't acting. A lot of that stuff seems pretty fake. Chances are if they aren't acting and no one from the show reported it then someone who knows them will see it and hopefully do the right thing. I don't know how you could report the situation when you don't know their names and where they live...
People who go on talk shows for this crap are publicity whores. Not to mention you really never know how much of it is staged. If there were cause for concern, CPS and police would have already been involved. If they aren't and there really is something going on, someone who actually knows the people will do something about it.


If it really really really bothers you THAT MUCH, change the channel lol seriously dude
I would say that the show would do something about this as they may be liable if the kids got hurt. They knew what the homelife was like. The problem is you do not know their neames or their addresses to do anything. You couls always ring the station it is on and ask if they do anything
Sad to say but thats why I don't watch Maury anymore. Its a joke to him and his show. Try to e-mail the show. Ask what they do in a situation like that. Tell them that you are concerned. About calling CPS for whats on the show. They probably don't use real names. I feel the same way. Good Luck!
You can't do anything, by the time the show airs (most are reruns anymore) they have usually move on to either moving around or even end up in jail.
