Do you think that Ireland v France was a fix?

Do you think FIFA set it all up so France would win, like seeding the playoffs? It seems very obvious to me. How could the lines man %26amp; the ref miss that 2 players where offside and a double handball? Where they watching a different match, it seems to me that they are only two people in the world that didn't see this happen! The two most important men in the match %26amp; they didn't see it! Could it be anymore obvious that the whole thing was a fix! They thought Ireland was going to be a walk over last week but when the match went into extra time there was panic and so it was fixed for France to cheat %26amp; get away with it! I think FIFA hand picked the officials %26amp; instructed them to turn a blind eye on the french. I think Ireland hadn't got a chance, even if we had got another 2 goals they would of found a way to pull the carpet from under are feet again! FIFA wanted France in the world cup %26amp; they weren't going to let a little country like Ireland get in the way of there plans.Do you think that Ireland v France was a fix?
France are Cheating BastardsDo you think that Ireland v France was a fix?
Make no mistake Blatter got what he wanted however if it had been a fix they wouldn't have relied on an obvious hand ball from Henry, no this was an incompetent ref aided by a cheating Henry who both screwed up and consequently screwed the Irish

If this was a fix Blatter used a sledge hammer when the tap of a chisel would have done the job.
No fix, although the seedings were wrong.

Rebuttal to your argument

1) All referees for FIFA games are handpicked by the FIFA referees committee, who'd you expect - an Irishman perhaps? Hansson is a good referee but even Collina made mistakes.

2) Referee Hansson could have easily given Anelka the penalty, there would be little argument as there was contact, although slight, but this kind of things have been given before.

3) Both linesman and referees view of the handball was blocked - basic rule - you don't punish what you didn't see. yes the Irish protested, but Henry ran away in celebration without any hesitation, as a referee you know something happened, it could easily have been accidental, do you want to award or overrule something you didn't see and have the video evidence prove you wrong? Put yourself in his shoes, do you think you can make your mind up in 3 seconds, so easily?

4) Had Keane finished off the French in the 73rd minute, we wouldn't be having this argument.

So no fix, any and all blame should go to the true villain - Thierry Henry.
